Job description

As a Software Tester at Benchmark, you are responsible for providing your testing expertise to define and drive software testing strategies and initiatives at the feature and system level.

What you can add

Together with your team (scrum method) you are responsible for performing software tests. You select and apply test management tools, simulation models, test frameworks and scripting languages ​​for the best results. During the process you keep test plans, protocols and reports in documentation, support design changes and review requirements, stories and features for accuracy and testability.

You have the following tasks

  • Performing software testing, both automated and manual, within the systems, agile and scrum team.
  • Reviewing functional and non-functional requirements, stories and features for accuracy and testability.
  • Perform functional and performance load and reliability testing.
  • Documenting test plans, protocols and reports.
  • Supporting design changes for quality impact.
  • Leveraging data driven insights from customer feedback, log files, maintenance history to develop test scenarios.

Job requirements

We are looking for a new colleague with

  • A completed college/university degree in Embedded Software Engineering, Computer Science or related.
  • Experience in Embedded Software development and (embedded) software testing in particular.
  • Experience in automated test scripts, perfomance and load testing, continuous builds and test frameworks.
  • Experience with requirements management and software configuration management.
  • Good communication skills in word and writing; also in English.
  • An entrepreneurial, decisive, proactive and result-oriented mindset.
