Embedded Software Test Specialist

As an Embedded Software Tester at Benchmark, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team with a focus on testing embedded software in high-tech products. You will be working in an international environment with plenty of opportunities for your personal development.

What do you add?

Together with your team (scrum method), you are responsible for performing software tests. You apply test management tools, simulation models, test frameworks, and scripting languages for the best results. During the process, you maintain test plans, protocols, and reports in documentation, support design changes, and review requirements, stories, and features for correctness and testability.

What are you going to do?

• Performing software tests, both automated and manual.
• Reviewing functional and non-functional requirements, stories, and features for accuracy and testability.
• Performing functional and performance load and reliability tests.
• Documenting test plans, protocols, and reports.
• Using data-driven insights from customer feedback, log files, and maintenance history to develop test scenarios.

What do you bring?

• A completed BSc/MSc education in the field of Computer Science or related.
• Experience with modern software test techniques.
• Experience with automated test tools, test frameworks, and scripting languages (Python).
• Experience in creating test plans, test protocols, and test reports.
• Experience with requirements management- and configuration management- tools
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
