Job description
As a senior solder operator at Benchmark you are responsible for manually placing components. You check and where necessary update your prints. You know exactly how to make extra or changed connections.
At Benchmark you work on a day shift.
Your role
As a senior solder operator you sold press connections, manually or by machine. You read customer documentation and drawings on the basis of which products are produced or assembled. You independently repair deviations based on instructions / specifications. You use different tools to apply the components as accurately as possible. Think of a soldering iron, hot plate or a hair dryer. It's precision work!
You have the following tasks
- You visually check the print for soldering using work instructions and drawings.
- You determine the (process) parameters for the first product and then for the series in consultation with Manufacturing Engineering.
- You signal deviations from the predetermined standard and in case of errors you return products to the previous department.
- You verbally explain errors.
Job requirements
We are looking for you if you
have extensive experience as a soldering operator, training is not that important to us, but experience all the more;
can work very accurately and independently;
read design drawings;
want to think along to improve things; we are always open to new ideas.
