Activities

As an Operational Planner at Benchmark it is your task/responsibility to convert planning activities into work orders to start the production process. You are developing a realistic weekly plan for the production, in combination with the availability of material, available capacity and the customer demands.


What can you add

You are responsible for creating a realistic weekly plan for the production based on our customer demand. This involves establishing production priorities and resolving planning bottlenecks. Finally, you monitor the results of the weekly ‘handshake’. During the process you keep track of the logistics KPI’s, you are responsible for initiating the necessary improvements to improve the logistic process and overall performance.

You have the following tasks

  • Developing a realistic weekly plan for the production.
  • Determining production priorities.
  • Solving the bottlenecks in the planning.
  • You are responsible for the weekly ‘handshake’ with production (input & support).
  • Monitoring the results of the weekly ‘handshake’.
  • Communicating with the demand planner as soon as production doesn’t achieve the requested output.
  • Maintaining logistic KPI’s and initiating necessary improvements.


We are looking for a colleague

  • With a completed hbo or wo-degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related.
  • With interest in logistics and planning.
  • Who is analytically strong and solution and result oriented.
  • With good communication skills in both verbal and writing.
  • With, finally, an entrepreneurial, decisive, proactive and result-oriented mindset.
