Test Engineer

Job description

As a Test Engineer at Benchmark you have the task of tracing faults in products. In most cases, these are PCBAs. You do this by performing tests and also a structured analysis of the problems. You are also responsible

for training and guiding production personnel. Ultimately, you will contribute to optimizing the production process by means of this.

As a Test Engineer you will work in the PCBA production department, where your added value is in providing a fast, challenging analysis. The ultimate goal is to filter out errors, identify and resolve root causes and generate an improved production process.

  • Analyzing electronic products (functional and technical) that have failed production. There may also be products that have been returned from the customer.
  • Root cause analysis of production problems.
  • The early signaling of structural production problems.
  • Verify whether repair / rework has been performed successfully.
  • Suggest improvement proposals in production.
  • Training and guiding production personnel with regard to product specific aspects.

Jobs requirements

  • At least a completed technical higher professional education in the direction Electrical.
  • The ability to work analytically and in detail.
  • Good communication skills, someone who makes contact easily and people on one can speak constructively about their responsibilities.
  • Someone who gets energy from helping and coaching employees.
  • An entrepreneurial, decisive, proactive and result-oriented mindset.
